INDIANAPOLIS — Welcome to central Indiana's warmest day since the middle of November with temperatures responding as expected to sunshine and gusty southwest winds.
Just before 4 p.m., most of the viewing area wasn't far from 70°, which last happened on November 10.
Either way, temperatures this afternoon are 20° above average and feel more like late April than early March. This warm-up isn't a one-hit-wonder, with highs in the mid/upper 60s Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. However, rain odds ramp up later this week with an approaching cold front that brings colder, but near-normal, air into the state for the weekend.
