INDIANAPOLIS — Central Indiana was a under a tornado watch Wednesday afternoon and evening and there were several warnings, too.

There was damage to a school and volunteer fire department building and several homes in western Rush County. We also had reports of damage near Summitville in Madison County.

If the National Weather Service surveys the damage, we will be sure to pass along any additional information. From Live Doppler 13 Radar analysis, we expect it was a tornado that did the damage in Rush County.

The threat for severe weather is over and there is sunshine in the Thursday forecast.
