INDIANAPOLIS — There is a line of storms developing to our northwest that will impact northwest Indiana after midnight. What's left of this line may hold together long enough for a stray shower or storm around sunrise Saturday across the northern half of the state. Expect lots of dry hours early Saturday and it will be warm and muggy with highs in the middle and upper 80s. Scattered storms develop with the heat of the day and may interrupt your outdoor plans later in the afternoon and Saturday night. Stay weather aware because we are under the risk for severe weather on Saturday. Here is the latest timeline.
A big weather change is coming for the end of the weekend. Sunday starts with clouds and a few showers and we are only forecasting highs in the 60s. Skies clear later in the day.
