The wind increases this afternoon with gusts from 30-40 mph. A combination of these high winds, a dry ground, and low humidity will bring an increased risk of rapidly spreading fires.
Limit or put off burning of any kind today including bonfires and grills. Keep in mind it is illegal to burn leaves in Marion County and there are leaf burning restrictions in other counties.
It is important to check your local ordinances before burning on a normal day, but critical you do not burn anything during a Red Flag Warning.
