Our warm, dry weather ends Tuesday afternoon with a line of strong to severe storms developing after sunset.

INDIANAPOLIS — Temperatures won't just be unseasonably warm by 15-20 degrees through Tuesday, we'll have a number of records in jeopardy.

  • Today's forecast: 75
  • Record: 76 (1999)

  • Monday's forecast: 76
  • Record: 76 (1999)

  • Tuesday's forecast: 73
  • Record: 75 (1949)

This all changes with a potent cold front set to arrive Tuesday evening. A few showers will be possible Tuesday afternoon with a line of strong to severe storms developing after sunset.

Temperatures will drop into the mid 40s by Wednesday morning with highs on Wednesday back to a more normal number for this time of year.

Highs will be in the mid 50s for the remainder of the week with overnight lows in the 30s. Areas of frost will once again by possible Thursday through Saturday morning.
