INDIANAPOLIS — Here's your reminder of daylight saving time starting one week from today on Sunday, March 14.

We'll "spring forward" one hour at 2 a.m. allowing for more daylight at the end of the day.

Sunrise and sunset will go from 6:59 a.m. and 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 13th to 7:57 a.m. and 7:51 p.m. on Sunday.

This is also a good time to change out your smoke detector batteries and make sure they're in proper working order.

Enjoy some more sunshine at the end of the day but be aware it will be dark for the kids at the bus stops for the next few weeks.
