INDIANAPOLIS — The next storm system arrives Sunday evening. Precipitation will start off in west central Indiana after 6 p.m., arriving in the metro area around 9 p.m.
While there will likely be snow mixed in initially, rain will take over the event, as the column of air will be warm enough to support liquid precipitation.
Only light snow accumulation will be possible in north central Indiana, with a half inch at best.
Temperatures will fall to the freezing mark Monday morning, allowing some slick spots on untreated roads and pavement.
