INDIANAPOLIS — This system that has brought snow and sleet this morning exits around lunchtime with skies remaining cloudy through the day as temperatures recover to the low to mid 30s. It stays cloudy overnight with steady temperatures in the low 30s.

Our second, more impactful system arrives just after the morning rush hour Monday morning with a sleet/freezing rain set-up along and north of I-70 and rain south on the "warm side" of a warm front.

Precipitation changes to mainly rain in the Indy metro as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 30s in the afternoon with a snow/sleet mix continuing for areas north.

This system will wrap-up late Monday evening into the early morning hours on Tuesday.

Light ice accumulations will be possible along and north of the I-70 corridor with light snow accumulations north. Any untreated surfaces will become very slippery, especially on bridges and overpasses. Travel with extra caution.

Lingering snow showers will be possible to the northern tier of the state through Tuesday.
A third system will again bring snow changes starting Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Light snow accumulations will again be possible.
