INDIANAPOLIS — After Friday severe storms ripped across central Indiana, the active weather continues again today.

Strong to severe storms are firing in northern Indiana this evening. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 1 a.m.

Isolated thunderstorms will move in late afternoon into the evening with the best time frame from now until early Sunday morning. Storms will not be as heavy as yesterday. Strong winds and large hail will be possible, and an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out either.
