INDIANAPOLIS — Light rain will continue to fall into early Wednesday morning, but it moves out for the morning drive. A few spotty showers are possible on Wednesday afternoon too, but there will also be some dry time with highs in the 50s.

Rain and storms are expected on Thursday. Right now, this looks like it will come in a couple of waves.

The first wave comes early in the day across the northern part of the state and the second later in the day across the southern part of the state. It will be warm and in the 60s on Thursday.
This weather system gets stuck over central Indiana and more heavy rain is on the way for Friday night into early Saturday. Rainfall potential is 1-3+ inches through the start of the weekend. Lowland flooding and river flooding will be a weather issues later this week.
