Live Doppler 13 Weather Blog: Looking ahead to Halloween

Here are some Halloween stats and a look ahead to the forecast for Monday.

INDIANAPOLIS — Halloween is on Monday. The average high is 60 and the average low is 42. The warmest Halloween was in 1950 when the high hit 82 degrees. The coldest was a 24 degree day in 1988. 

We are not forecasting any temperature extremes this Halloween, with a forecast high in the lower 60s and trick or treat temperatures in the 50s.

We have had snow on Halloween. In fact in 2014 we had .1" and that ties for the most snow with 1890.

The wettest Halloween with 2.01" happened in 2013. This Halloween won't be the wettest on record but there will be a few showers possible. Our latest analysis has most of the rain showers moving out for Monday evening.
