INDIANAPOLIS — Stay weather aware through the start of the weekend due to heavy rain, flooding and strong winds. Two to four inches of rain are in the forecast coming in two waves tonight, early Friday and Friday night.

Remember, high water is hard to see at night and it is a good idea to have another route in mind if you live or drive in areas that typically see high water.
Friday will be soggy start to finish with highs near 50 degrees. That second wave of heavy rain will end early Saturday morning.

Saturday will be a very windy day with gusts 40 to 50 mph.
The pick of the weekend is Sunday. There will be some sunshine and highs in the middle and upper 50s.
