INDIANAPOLIS — It will be mostly cloudy this afternoon with a sprinkle possible. Afternoon highs climb into the low 80s.
The skies will decrease in clouds this evening, as an area of high pressure arrives. It will be partly cloudy with a light, northerly breeze and lows will fall into the upper 60s.
Friday will be sunny and dry with temperatures climbing back into the upper 80s and low 90s.
More heat and humidity arrives over the weekend. Afternoon to evening storms are possible Saturday with afternoon highs in the low 90s.
There will be a few isolated storms possible Sunday afternoon with temperatures soaring into the low to mid-90s.
The hot and humid trend will continue Monday and Tuesday. Heat indices will be in the upper 90s and triple digits. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid-90s. Scattered thunderstorms will be around both days.
More storms will be around Wednesday, with the heat backing down a bit. Highs will be in the upper 80s.
