INDIANAPOLIS — Steady snow continues to fall across central Indiana. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Fayette County in our viewing area.
A dusting to over an inch of snow has fallen so far today.

Snow will taper off from north to south by early afternoon with a few lingering flurries flying.

A cold front has been the trigger mechanism for the snow and it will also allow much colder air to push in this afternoon. Temperatures will hold near steady in the low to mid-20s this afternoon with wind chill values in the low teens, with a breezy northerly wind.

As the drier air arrives, the skies will clear out from north to south too, allowing for some sunshine.
