INDIANAPOLIS — Temperatures will run well above average again on Sunday with temperature back into the mid to upper 80s. Clouds will increase through the afternoon, keeping it a few degrees cooler than Saturday.
Showers will be possible late day Sunday with mostly cloudy skies and lows in the upper 60s. Monday will be wet at times with scattered showers and breezy winds.
Temperatures will only climb into the upper 70s to near 80°.
Showers will continue Monday night and Tuesday as a cold front arrives. It will be cooler, breezy and wet Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s.
The low pressure system should push east of Indiana by Wednesday, the first day of Autumn. If it stalls out, there will be a chance of more rain. Otherwise, there will be a clearing to sunshine with breezy winds out of the north and highs only in the mid 60s.
