An approaching cold front teams up with abundant moisture and high wind shear to produce gusty showers, and possibly a few storms, between now - 9 PM.
The probability of rotating storms is very low, but can't completely be ruled-out. Downpours more likely along with gusty wind (even outside of showers/storms) in excess of 30 mph.
Showers end quickly between 9-10 PM with the passage of the latest cold front. The air mass behind this front produces lows in the 40s tonight and highs only the 50s Tuesday.
The next cold front arrives Thursday into Friday and brings a temperature drop along with a chance of showers.
But it won't feel that warm due to gusty wind over 30 mph as a result of a low pressure system spinning over the Great Lakes.
Wednesday remains our pick-of-the-week and there continues to be significant differences regarding weather the second-half of this weekend.
We're keeping the chance of rain in our Sunday forecast... for now. Odds of rain could go significantly up or down in the days ahead.
