INDIANAPOLIS — There were two EF-1 tornadoes in Shelby County on Thursday evening, the National Weather Service confirmed. Winds were estimated near 90mph.
The first touched down just southeast of Shelbyville just before 8 p.m. There was damage to a few homes and lots of trees down.
The second touched down at 8:14 p.m., just south of Waldron. Again, there were lots of trees down in this area and a cemetery with some damage.
