Thursday storm blog: Warnings expire, storms continue overnight

After a line of storms brought high winds and rain to central Indiana Thursday evening, the rain continues overnight.

INDIANAPOLIS — A stormy night continues late Thursday with rain expected overnight and again on Friday.

11 p.m. - As storms continue to roll through the state, AES Indiana reports nearly 2,000 people without power in Indianapolis.

8:45 p.m. - A 13News viewer shared photos of a large tree branch down following storms that blew through the north side of Indianapolis. 

AES Indiana is currently reporting over 1,100 customers without power, including hundreds on the northeast side of Indianapolis. Duke Energy is reporting fewer than 300 customers without power across the state.

6:45 p.m. - The warning have all expired for now, but there is still the threat of more severe weather.

6:29 p.m. - Kelly is helping you Stay Weather Aware with tracking times on the storm that is under a warning right now.

6:20 p.m. - About 25 minutes is left on an extended Thunderstorm Warning for Marion and Johnson counties. That warning is until 6:45 p.m.

6:09 p.m. - More storms are popping up around Indiana.

6:03 p.m. - We could see damaging winds with these fast moving storms. Be safe.

5:52 p.m. - The storms are about 5 minutes to Plainfield and Avon and about 20 minutes to downtown Indianapolis.

5:41 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for northern Morgan County, southern Hendricks County and Marion County until 6:15 p.m.

5:35 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Morgan County, Owen County and Putnam County until 6 p.m.

5:05 p.m. - Strong storms are moving through central Indiana.
