INDIANAPOLIS — We continue to track a developing weather system responsible for rain, a wintry mix and some snow.
By late Monday evening, the leading edge of the rain was in southwestern Indiana. We are forecasting some rain that may mix with sleet and a bit of snow late Monday night through about sunrise Tuesday.
We are not forecasting any accumulating snow locally, but there is a chance for snow to stick across northern Illinois.
Here is the forecast with FutureTrak13 at 7 a.m.
The rest of Tuesday will be cloudy, but mainly dry with afternoon temperatures in the 40s.
