INDIANAPOLIS — Temperatures will get back into the low 90s today after a five-day break. It will be sunny and hot with breezes out of the south.
Clouds will increase this evening. An upper level disturbance will bring showers and thunderstorms late tonight. There is a risk of severe storms tonight into Thursday morning.
The main threats are large hail and damaging winds.
An isolated tornado is possible, mainly in far west central Indiana.
Initially, storms will enter west central Indiana rather strong to severe.
Showers and storms will likely weaken some overnight, with storms ending by mid morning.
Temperatures will only fall into the low 70s.
Isolated thunderstorms will be around Thursday afternoon. It will be hot and humid with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 80s.
