INDIANAPOLIS — With forecasts calling for rain-snow mix Thursday night into Friday morning, the Indianapolis Department of Public Works will call out a full shift of 80 Snow Force truck drivers at 11 p.m. Thursday to pre-treat roadways for potential slick spots.

Crews are anticipating snow into the weekend and will continue treating and plowing through Saturday evening as conditions warrant.

The Indy Snow Force Viewer will show where trucks have plowed or treated streets with salt.

Watch for slick spots on bridges and overpasses, and allow extra time to reach your destination.

DPW asks drivers to allow at least three car lengths between your vehicle and Snow Force trucks.
