Independence Day Forecast: It's a Dandy!

Sunny, warm and prime BBQ conditions.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — This Independence Day will feel like a summery, July day with warm temperatures, a little humidity and chance for a stray shower or two. But any fireworks displays for Sunday night are a go!

Mostly sunny in WNY for the balance of the day. Isolated pop-up showers and additional clouds are possible along lake breeze convergence zones, but any showers Sunday will be small, short-lived, and light in nature.

Sunday features high temperatures in the low 80s. It will be a little more humid by Sunday afternoon but not oppressively so.

The weather won't get into the way of any fireworks displays with the sky expected to clear out both Saturday and Sunday evening, even if there are afternoon showers.

And for those who have the day off of work Monday, expect a return of the heat and humidity we had earlier this week. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s with dew point temperatures near 70 degrees again.
