We're going to enjoy one more warm day with temperatures in the 80s today. A warm, southerly breeze warms us up to 81 later this afternoon. The average high for early October in Indiana is 70 degrees.
Clouds will be associated with a cold front that will change our weather pattern for the weekend. That cold front moves through Indiana tonight, and it should pass through mainly dry. Temperatures for Operation Football will be in the lower 70s at kickoff.
Cooler air arrives for the weekend. We are forecasting sunshine and 60s on Saturday and Sunday, so the roof could be open for the Colts-Bears game Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium
Hurricane Matthew was downgraded to a Category 3 storm early this morning. It's still moving along the north central coast of Florida this morning. Matthew will move toward the coastal sections of Georgia later in the day Friday, and impact the Carolinas Friday night and Saturday.
