The second half of our weekend will be quite a bit different from yesterday. An upper level disturbance will bring a chance of widely scattered showers today, especially in south central Indiana this afternoon.

It will be much cooler than normal with highs in the low 70s. The cloudy skies and cool temperatures should make great racing conditions for the Brickyard 400.

Clouds will hang tough this evening with a few spotty showers possible in east central Indiana. Temperatures will fall to near 60 degrees.

A gradual clearing returns Monday with mostly sunny skies by afternoon. Temperatures will climb back iinto the upper 70s and low 80s.

More heat and humidity arrives on Tuesday. It will be hot and hazy with temperatures in the upper 80s, feeling like the low 90s.

There will be daily storm chances through Friday with highs in the mid to upper 80s, feeling like the middle of July.

Dorian has now weakened into a Post-Tropical Cyclone. It will have significant impacts in portions of eastern Canada. It is located 80 miles west of Cape St. George, Newfoundland. It is still packing in winds of 80 mph and is swiftly moving off to the north-northeast at 26 mph. It will take a turn to the northeast later today, moving into the North Atlantic tonight.
