Beautiful day in Indiana this morning, and it actually feels like autumn, but that will change.
A large dome of high pressure will control the weather over two-thirds of the country and for us, that means a tremendous warm up this afternoon and possibly, record breaking heat.
For us here in the central part of the state, it will be mainly dry, although we could see a brief time of rain today and during the weekend. The best chance for that happening today is north of Indianapolis.
Temperatures will be in the 80s for Operation Football tonight.
Tomorrow, for the Circle City Parade and game and for the Boilermakers game at Purdue, look for more heat and humidity. That type of weather goes well into next week when we could see significant heat and the possibility of three days in a row of record-breaking warmth.
