Today was the fourth 90 degree day in a row this week, but the weather pattern is changing now. A cold front is moving through the area. Along the front, there will be a few storms mainly south and east of Indianapolis. The threat for storms will end by 8pm. Behind the cold front, there is a refreshing breeze, milder air and lower humidity. If you are going to a high school football game or an other outdoor evening event, you will feel the pattern change later this evening.
The weekend will be warm but not hot and not too muggy. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs 80 to 85 on Saturday. The weather will be great for IU football in Bloomington. It is a noon kick-off. The Boilermakers take on TCU in West Lafayette at 7:30 Saturday evening. You might need a sweatshirt for the second half of that game.
Sunday will be warmer and in the middle and upper 80s. Next week looks similar to this week, as we forecast high temperatures near 90 degrees Monday through Friday.
