It is another hot and humid day, with afternoon temperatures in the upper 80s and lower 90s. A couple of showers and storms developed across the northern part of the state and a few storms will be possible on Thursday and Friday too.
It will be partly cloudy, warm and muggy overnight. Temperatures will be in the lower 70s to start your Thursday. Afternoon temperatures once again reach the upper 80s and lower 90s on Thursday. A stray storm is possible on Thursday afternoon too. The better chance for showers and storms arrives on Friday. We are forecasting a thin line of showers and storms to move through the area from about noon to 7pm Friday. This line will develop along a front and once that front moves south, there will be relief from the high heat and high humidity.
Saturday will be that day, with highs in the lower 80s. This relief will last one day. The heat is back for the end of the weekend and most of next week. We will add a few more 90 degrees days next week.
