A few lingering showers and storms are possible south and east of Indianapolis through early this evening. The overall weather pattern stays warm and stormy at times through the weekend.
We are forecasting more dry hours than stormy hours for Saturday, with afternoon temperatures in the range of 75 to 80 degrees. Right now Sunday is looking like the soggier and stormier day this weekend.
A developing tropical storm system across the southeastern part of the country will get caught in our departing weather system early next week. This combination will stall just to our east, but we will be close enough for clouds and some cooler air early next week. We have 60s in the forecast Monday through Wednesday, with warmer air returning late next week.
