Gotta tell you...I love these crisp, cool Indiana fall mornings. This cool air seems to revive my soul and the fresh, dry air is intoxicating.
I also know that is not the common attitude among Hoosiers. If you are not a fan of the cold, hang in there. The next few days we will see the highs stay well above average — bringing us a return to late summer in Indiana.
The change comes Friday night. A cold front drops temperatures quickly and by Saturday, some unseasonably cold air moves into the region. It will be so cold, we won’t get out of the 50s Saturday and that includes weather for the IU and Purdue homecoming festivities.
Remember, the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival is starting Friday and into next week, so changing weather means changing plans for what you will wear.
Sunday and Monday show a continuation of the cool weather here in the Metro area.
