The front is south, and autumn weather is back again.
We had a lot of rain and breezy weather into last night, and now we are picking up a northwest wind that will keep us at or below average all day long today.
Right now, most cities have temps from 2 to 6 degrees cooler than at this time yesterday.
Look for the clouds to decrease as we head into today and tonight…wow: look for a low of 44 degrees, the coolest of the season so far. I am not looking for a frost the next few days but by the time we reach Sunday morning, a frost could be in store for some of the outlying areas in Indiana.
The warmest part of the week will be Wednesday and Thursday when we jump into the mid 70s, but it looks like very cool weather heads back into the weekend — just in time for the opening weekend of the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.
On this day in Central Indiana Weather History:
2014: An EF-0 tornado touches down in Putnam County damaging some trees and crops.
