After a chilly start this morning with wind chills in the upper 40s and low 50s, temperatures will rebound into the mid 80s this afternoon. A few isolated showers or thunderstorms will be possible along a warm front this afternoon with a breezy wind out of the south-southwest.
A cold front will trigger a few showers and thunderstorms tonight. The best chance of rain will be in north central Indiana. A few storms could be strong to severe through Saturday mid morning. Overnight temperatures will fall into the upper 60s and low 70s.
There is a chance of a few showers and thunderstorms Saturday. It will be partly sunny and hot with temperatures soaring into the upper 80s, feeling like the low 90s.
Sunday will be hot and muggy with temperatures near 90°.
The stretch of possible record breaking heat will continue through mid week with afternoon highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.
