INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — It's a wet start to our day in central Indiana and the rain will fall most of the day. For trick-or-treating tonight, parents should plan on breezy, chilly conditions at minimum, with showers possible. However, the steadier and heavier rain amounts might be south of I-70 Halloween evening with potential of thunderstorms too.
A flood watch remains in effect for Bloomington and Columbus south until Friday morning.
The reprieve from widespread, heavy rain is short in nature as rain expands Wednesday night. Expect a rainy, chilly, raw Thursday with heavy rain at times and temperatures in the 40s. Heavy, wind-whipped, rain continues into Friday morning as a strengthening storm moves across the Ohio Valley.
At this time it appears steady rain ends before Operation Football games Friday evening, but some lingering showers are possible.
For the thousands hitting the streets of Indianapolis Saturday for the Monumental Marathon... plan on start time temperatures in the low/mid 30s with sunshine. Temperatures climb into the 40s by 11am with a mainly light wind.
