WEATHER BLOG: Severe weather clears State Fair early, Luke Bryan concert postponed

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Severe weather is picking up around Central Indiana and will impact outdoor activities like the State Fair and the Luke Bryan concert at Ruoff Music Center. Meteorologist Sean Ash is tracking weather conditions.

10:09 p.m. – Flood Warnings are in place for several counties until 10 p.m.

9:27 p.m. – Sean Ash says school delay are possible Monday morning with conditions that will help create dense fog in some areas.

8:45 p.m. – A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Fayette, Union and Wayne counties until 9:30 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Delaware and Randolph counties until 9:15 p.m.

7:50 p.m. – Tonight's show at the Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn at White River State Park has also been postponed due to weather.

7:30 p.m. – The Luke Bryan concert at Ruoff Music Center has been officially postponed because of weather. The concert has been rescheduled for Friday, October 11.

Guests at the State Fair are also being advised to seek shelter.

7 p.m. – We're sharing images of storm clouds that are being sent in by viewers.

6:32 p.m. – Ruoff Music Center has issued a weather alert. Guests are being evacuated to their vehicles due to weather on the way.

5:51 p.m. – Waynetown, Linden, Crawfordsville and Roachdale under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 6:30 p.m. Winds of over 70 mph are possible.

5:45 p.m. – Damaging winds and hail is possible around Crawfordsville.

4:57 p.m. – Storms along the Illinois-Indiana border are showing some rotation. Sean says addition severe weather watches are possible.

2 p.m. – A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Muncie, Lafayette, Bloomington and Indy metro area until 8 p.m.
