Wayne Township firefighters ask for help in determining who started apartment complex fire


INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Firefighters on the west side are trying to figure out who started a fire at an apartment complex.

Wayne Township firefighters were called to the Darby Court Apartments at the 2100 block of North High School Road early Saturday morning in the report of an apartment fire.

They found a fire burning in the main entryway of one of the buildings.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire quickly, but one person suffered minor injuries.

The fire investigative team determined it was arson.
