DENVER, Colo. (KUSA) - Denver residents and their furry friends got the chance to get their Halloween on and show off their spooky and silly costumes Saturday.

More than 150 dogs strutted their stuff at the second annual Tennyson Street pet parade and costume contest.

Whether scary or funny or sweet, the costumed canines and their families enjoyed a nice day in the park.

Trophies were awarded to the winning pooches and their proud parents.

The event benefitted a local dog rescue group.
