FARGO, N.D. (WTHR) - A custodian at a North Dakota high school played hero to a furry friend that got stuck in a snowbank.

A witness to the heroism told KVLY-TV workers had cleared snow off the roof of Fargo North High School, which apparently trapped a bunny down below. The rabbit can be seen stuck under the snow against a window of the school.

In a Facebook video posted Monday, onlookers cheer as the custodian digs through several feet of snow, first with a shovel, then by hand until he reached the animal.

The custodian placed the bunny on top of the piled snow, where it quickly took off.
