Warm Through Wednesday Then A Temperature Tumble - Live Doppler 13 Weather Blog

We have August like weather for the early part of the week and then November like weather for the end of the week. This means highs in the 80s then highs in the 50s. We are tracking big temperature changes this week.

It has been a warm start to the month. 6 of the first 8 days have been in the 80s.

It will be another warm and muggy night, with temperatures only falling into the upper 60s and lower 70s. There will be a mix of sun and clouds and afternoon temperatures in the middle 80s on Tuesday. There is a slight chance for a stray late day storm.

The better chance for showers and storms arrives later Wednesday. Showers and storms will develop along a cold front that will move through central Indiana late Wednesday into early Thursday. Ahead of the front, high temperatures will still be near 80 degrees on Wednesday. Behind the front, temperatures tumble into the 50s by Thursday afternoon. Here is a look at the timeline for late day rain and storms on Wednesday.

This fall chill will last through the weekend. Highs will be in the 50s Friday and Saturday too. The coolest morning will be Saturday morning, with forecast low temperatures in the range of 35 to 40 degrees. The northern part of the state might have some patchy frost.

There is a chance for rain Saturday night into Sunday.
