VIDEO: Texas sheriff's deputy hit by train at railroad crossing

MIDLAND, Texas (WTHR) — It was a shocking moment caught on camera for one sheriff's deputy in Texas after he was hit by a train.

In the video, you can see one sheriff's deputy in his patrol car stopping at a railroad crossing waiting for the train to pass.

Once it does, the deputy turns on his lights and sirens so he can rush to a call for a baby who wasn't breathing. But when he starts to drive over the tracks, he gets hit by another train heading in the opposite direction.

Thankfully, the deputy was able walk away from that crash. He later went to the hospital to be evaluated.
