VIDEO: Son pays off parents' mortgage for Christmas

(WTHR) — Christmas gifts from the heart truly are the best.

Brady Singer, a pitcher in the Kansas City Royals organization, has taken over the internet with his emotional video of his Christmas gift to his parents.

In a tweet, Singer posted the video with a caption that read, "To give back to the two people who have given up everything to support my brother and I. I can’t thank them enough."

The video shows his mother reading a letter where she and her husband find out Brady has paid off their mortgage.

"The money you both spent on traveling, the gear, hotel, food and all those Gatorades I drank is much more than I could ever give you," Brady's mom read. "But there is something I want to give to you."

Brady's mom looked at her husband in disbelief as she read the rest of the letter. Not only did Brady pay off their mortgage, he paid off all his parents' debt.

He said he did it to show just how much he appreciates his parents.

Singer signed with the Royals earlier this year for $4.25 million, according to
