HOUSTON, Texas (WTHR) - Surveillance cameras capture the moment when a man steals a puppy from a house in Texas.

The owner says the suspect showed up to the house pretending to be interested in buying the 6-week-old French Bulldog pup for $4,200.

Instead, he grabs the dog and makes a run for it out the front door.

The owner is now worried about what's going to happen to the animal next.

"I love my dogs, and I don't like the idea of them going to somebody that's going to hurt them or abuse them. He can be dead in a week from parvo. It doesn't have its shots."

The owner ran after the man but couldn't catch up to him before he got in his car and drove off.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
