LOS ANGELES (WTHR) — Firefighters are battling a new blaze in southern California.

They're attempting to control a 150-acre blaze along the 405 freeway in Los Angeles.

The fire, known as the Skirball Fire, was reported just before 5am on Dec 6., NBC10 reports.

Four structures have been destroyed thus far. The Getty museum — a museum of architecture and gardens — is close to the fire and was closed on Wednesday for safety reasons.

Officials have yet to determine a cause for the fire.
