Veteran who had wallet stolen meets with woman who he says stole his wallet

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A visiting veteran who had his wallet stolen at an Indianapolis gas station now has his ID and credit cards back.

The suspected thief caught on camera was identified on social media.

Jason Flagg was able to find her and the two agreed to meet near 38th and Emerson.

The alleged suspect says she ditched the wallet itself but returned the IDs and cards that were inside.

Flagg sent out a photo with his replacement wallet.

The veteran is in town for the next month from Oregon caring for family.

Flagg says it would have been very difficult for him to get replacement cards and IDs when miles away from home.
