UPDATE: Victim dies in shooting on Indy's northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Metro police say a man died at the hospital after he was shot on the city's northwest side Saturday.

IMPD officers responded to reports of a person shot in the 5200 block of Pinebrook Drive at 4:45 p.m. This is near Georgetown Road and West 52nd Street.

When officers arrived, they found the man with apparent gunshot wound(s). He was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and died there.

Homicide detectives are investigating.

On Monday, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Devonte Daniels, 32.
