NEW YORK CITY (WTHR) - A young boy traveling to Denver through LaGuardia Airport with no shirt under his coat got some help from TSA agents.

The agents noticed the boy had no shirt on when they asked him to remove his jacket at the security checkpoint. With temperatures expected to dip into the 30s at night, TSA officers were concerned the boy would get cold.

So as the boy and his father were escorted into a private screening area, two officers decided to buy him an NYPD shirt from a shop at the airport.

The child's father said he was thankful for the kind gesture, since all of their other clothes were in a checked bag and he was unaware that his son didn't have a shirt on.
