Trump, Pence tweet about Noblesville school shooting

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) — President Donald Trump sent a message Saturday morning after Friday's school shooting in Noblesville.

In a tweet posted around 10:45 a.m. eastern time, the President said:

"Thanks to very brave Teacher & Hero Jason Seaman of Noblesville, Indiana, for his heroic act in saving so many precious young lives. His quick and automatic action is being talked about all over the world!"

Vice President Mike Pence also tweeted about Seaman, calling him an American and Hoosier hero.

Seaman has been credited with tackling the alleged shooter in his classroom and preventing further shooting. Seaman is recovering from gunshot wounds.
