ISP Sgt. Jeremy Piers tweeted a photo of the semi fire and encouraged drivers traveling that direction to use an alternate route, if possible, and to expect delays when driving through the area.
A tweet from INDOT indicated the northbound lanes would be closed past 10 p.m., but Piers later tweeted that the left lane had opened to traffic around 9 p.m. He tweeted that all lanes had opened by 10:30 p.m.
