Tip leads police to suspect in armed robbery of Marion liquor store

MARION, Ind. (WTHR) - A suspect in an armed robbery at a Marion liquor store is in custody.
Police in Marion say they got a tip about the suspect caught on camera robbing a Save-On Liquor store with a butcher knife.
Officers found 27-year-old Thomas Pace at a bar early Thursday morning.
They subsequently searched his home and discovered clothes worn during the robbery.
He's now facing charges of robbery with a deadly weapon.
The suspect wore a hood and mask that covered part part of his face.

The clerk says the thief took money from the register then ran away.
No one was hurt.
