Timing Thursday Snow - Live Doppler 13 Weather Blog

There will be a break from the snow showers tonight. It will be mostly cloudy and cold overnight, with low temperatures falling back into the middle 20 for early Thursday.

We are forecasting a dry start to Thursday, but there is a fast moving weather system that will arrive late morning and bring the threat for more snow. Right now we are forecasting a quick inch to inch and a half of snow on Thursday.

Here is the timeline for snow on Thursday with FutureTrak13.

Behind this weather system, we are tracking another blast of colder air.

Morning temperatures will fall into the teens for Friday and near 20 for Saturday. Afternoon temperatures both days will only reach the lower 30s. There will be some sun on Friday, but mostly cloudy skies are forecast for the weekend.

There is a developing winter storm system that will track just to our south this weekend. This system will bring the threat for snow from Oklahoma to Kentucky. We will track it closely because any shift to the north will bring snow into the southern part of Indiana Sunday into early Monday.
