Tickets on sale for Festival of Trees

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Experience your new holiday tradition as you walk through a winter wonderland at the Festival of Trees.

Tickets are now on sale for the annual display of 92 beautifully decorated trees and special programs at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center.

  • Adult: $13
  • Senior (60 and over): $12
  • Youth (5-17): $5
  • Children under 5: Free

Festival of Trees opens Nov. 15 and runs through Jan. 4, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

The display will extend its hours until 8 p.m. Dec. 16 - 23 but will be closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Enjoy daily activities, such as searching for the elf on a shelf, finding the 10 pickle ornaments, and singing along with traditional carols.

Santa will be at the History Center from noon to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from Thanksgiving to Christmas.

Special programs include:

  • Holiday Author Fair — Free admission on Saturday, Dec. 7 from noon to 4 p.m.
  • Sugarplum Saturday: The Sweet Experience — Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Sugarplum Saturday — Selections from "The Nutcracker" on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 12:30 and 2 p.m.
  • Good Beers and Ugly Sweaters — Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
  • A Christmas Story Day — Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
