Tickets for Garth Brooks at Notre Dame Stadium on sale Sept. 14

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Fighting Irish and country music will come together on the gridiron, with Garth Brooks to play the first-ever music concert at Notre Dame's football stadium.

The country superstar joined famed former Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz during a press conference in Nashville, Tennessee to make the announcement.

The concert will happen at 7 p.m. October 20, 2018 at Notre Dame Stadium.

Tickets for the event go on sale Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. EDT. There is an 8 ticket limit per person.
